Digital Human Library (dHL) is a place where innovation meets education.

We are looking for an individual or group to collaborate with our team on this Project.


The goal of this project is to review, research, edit, and validate dHL's existing library of 1800+ virtual tours and virtual reality experiences to ensure all of our content is safe and relevant for K-12 students. The Project Team will work in PHP/MySQL to update the database of tours, including adding new tours that have been sourced for the library.

Deliverables

Project Tasks:


Review and validate 1800+ educational virtual tours and virtual reality experiences in our Virtual Tours and Virtual Reality database:

  • Review each tour online
  • Use dHL's coding system to make edits to content in Google Sheets
  • Update our SQL database using the edits noted in Google Sheets by replacing/ updating links, titles, tags, and/or tour descriptions
  • Remove tours that are no longer available
  • Add new tours to the database (provided in Google Sheets)
  • Work within MySQL/ PHP
